At the beginning of the project, this back garden was in a real mess. It consisted of an ugly concrete path surrounded by knee-high grass and weeds. The garden hadn't been used at all for a considerable length of time and it showed. To top it all off, it was fenced off with old council wire and concrete posts, which offered no privacy from anybody in the playing field behind the house.
